Crystal Rider is a white-labeled real-time transit application built as a Progressive Web App (PWA). I was the lead designer for this project and was challenged with designing an application that would work for multiple site locations across the U.S. This app was used by thousands of guests staying at Disney World resorts and students and faculty at The University of Central Florida. A user could simply scan a QR code located at the bus stop and the PWA would display real-time data on when the next shuttle will service the stop on their mobile device.
A sitemap was created to illustrate the pages that would be included in the product. The sitemap was edited multiple times through several meetings over the course of this project.
In addition to the rider application, Disney required a large screen application to display transit information. These displays were visible to all guests at bus stops so that they can see transit data in real-time. The data was based on a schedule they provided.
I created key user flows for each scenario. These key flows were used for discussion during grooming meetings and for developers to better execute on completing their assigned tasks.
I created and maintained a consistent styleguide used by the Transdev web team throughout the entirety of the project.
